The Law Office of Linda P. Burbank, PLLC, has a unique focus in law and medicine. My name is Linda and I am an Attorney and Registered Nurse. I have had the pleasure of combining my medical background with my legal training in order to create a 'holistic' law practice. That translates into a law practice that readily addresses the following areas: guardianships, elder law, estate planning (Wills, Powers of Attorney, etc.), auto accidents, and personal injury claims. I feel privileged to be able to bring a dual perspective to my practice and provide a more comprehensive service. MDC is a valuable community resource that provides sound business leadership to community members. In March 2007, I decided to open my own law practice rather than work for a law firm. This decision was influenced by the fact that I had a support network to assist me with my new business start-up needs. Though I was comfortable with practicing law, I had not owned or operated my own business in the past. MDC proved to be a reliable resource in guiding me through small business start-up, and continues to be such today. From a business perspective, MDC offered useful free entrepreneurial training which covered numerous topics. This forum was welcoming, supportive, and comprehensive. I still reference the materials that I received through the training series (ie. marketing, advertising, and tax planning). To date, I have maintained a professional relationship with MDC via: mentorship by seasoned staff members, networking events, communication regarding community resources, and participation in free training opportunities.
